It was made in Munich Germany and sold out of Salt Lake City ,Utah. It is a 50 cc 2 stroke originally sold as a KL30 in Europe but modified with dual carburators and dual exaust, Repainted and pinstriped but Rex never rebadged with a different decal
The before picture,What a project!
This ad and a 1 page Road Impressions write up was found in 1962 August Cycle World Magazine
Check out the key storage and how it locks up the bike-The locksmith took 3 weeks to make a key and remove from bars.

1964 Harley Scat
After looking for old photos of old Harleys I came upon a picture of the Harley s125. This 2 stroke built in Milwaukee along side panheads were Harley's intro bike for the younger generation. I had to have one. After looking for sometime I found this bike in Boise ID.
It's a dirt bike version of the s125. 1964 BTH Harley SCAT. It's grown from 125cc in 1949 to 165cc in 1964 with a softtail rear suspension. This design was used 20 years later in the softail FLSTC line.
There are several good pictures of an S125 here.
